Cross is Always Coming

Of Crank & Chain: Cyclocross in Word & Image.

The book is a photographic and written expression of domestic cyclocross in 2019. Captured locally in the Pacific Northwest as well as at UCI events around the country, the book is presented as a single event and a singular experience as opposed to by the events themselves. In that sense, this is more about what it means to race cyclocross than a recounting of the season that was.

Co-written and edited by Drew Coleman and Laura Winberry (author of “Bell Lap”) as well as containing written contributions from Pro Molly Cameron and National Champions Stephen Hyde, Clara Honsinger, Gage Hecht. There are two versions of the book. Softcover. 240 pages.

OPTION 1 - $115 240 pages. 8x10. Soft Cover. Highest quality version. Thicker, heavier paper with a luster finish. Image rendering is wonderful and very accurate. Opens wider when looking at an image that spans two pages.

OPTION 2 - $65 240 pages. 8x10. Soft Cover. Same book, but for the budget conscious. A bit lower quality and thinner paper with a matte finish. Image rendering is quite good. It doesn’t open as wide for when looking an image that spans two pages. That said, it is still excellent.
